Fortune was smiling on me the day I stumbled across this fantastic eatery! Not one to get excited about salads, I figured I'd just poke my nose in and see what they had to offer. Swept up in a sea of healthy-eating afficionados, I ordered the first thing that caught my eye, the Beyond Me. With a few minor substitutions which staff readily accommodated, it was perfect! Vegan, gluten-free (mostly), gloriously onion-free (I forgot to ask) and supertasty! A tantalizing blend of flavors and textures, super healthy ingredients. A cold-pressed beet-apple-carrot juice was the perfect accompaniment. I've since tried their smoothies, which are also delicious. They do a brisk business - it was crowded throughout the lunch hour, and yet my meal was ready within minutes. Food prep area is out in the open, so you can watch them put together your salad and see how clean everything is. Service is exceptionally friendly and efficient. In-house orders served with reusable dishes and silverware. Prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. Credit cards accepted. Open 8:00am to 8:30pm, closed Saturdays and Sundays. Atmosphere knocks it out of the park with sky-high ceilings and glass walls that let in loads of natural light. (Their other locations have the same menu, but all seem to be stuck in windowless shopping center basements - which is okay if you're in a pinch.) I've been back to this location several times and enjoyed the same consistently top-notch experience each time. Highly recommend this amazing spot!
Outlet at Tangs Plaza: This is the second smallest SaladStop; although you eat among pedestrians, at least there are a few tables and chairs, whereas at Takashimaya you must go hunting for space in the food court or be satisfied gulping your wrap on a bench. Innovative, tasteful and pricey salads and wraps. Hawkers must cringe at the price of the quite-good but minuscule "Hainanese chicken quinoa" (go find quinoa in Hainan!) that sells for $6.50 + GST! After all, this is the Banyan Tree of salad counters, and not a Hotel 81!
The best salad store in Singapore (in my opinion). Fresh ingredients, reasonable price, friendly staff.. What more can you ask for? I usually have the egg veggie wrap for breakfast, and a CYO (create your own) salad for dinner. You can have as many ingredients in your salad as long as everything can fit the bowl. Or else.. the Cheaper-Than-A-Facial wrap is super delicious too!
the salad King in town!! the quality of the ingredient is just great!! and also have signature menu for smoothies with Superfruits from brazil like acai the best antioxidant!! also some other very unique flavor likes Acerola and Caja!!!
